A late 18th Century satinwood Writing Cabinet in the manner of Thomas Shearer, having walnut crossbanded top with burr yew oval panels, enclosing desk and rising secretaire section. The piece, having 1 dummy and 1 real fitted drawer to front above tambour cupboard doors in the concave kneehole, supported on inlaid short square tapering legs with shaped apron.
