D & M Freedman
David Freedman is a London-based dealer who specialises in Chinese and Japanese porcelain and works of art. He first set up his business in 1999 after working for nearly 30 years for fellow BADA members S Marchant & Sons.
Through this extensive apprenticeship, David learnt a great deal about Chinese and Japanese porcelain and works of art and is considered to be a leading authority, being frequently invited to vet at many international antiques fairs including at TEFAF in Maastricht, the Biennale des Antiquaires, Paris and the former Grosvenor House Antiques Fair.
D & M Freedman’s stock of Chinese ceramics is extensive, including many examples of Famille Rose, Famille Vert, Yongzheng and Kangxi. David also holds an extensive collection of blue and white porcelain pieces from the 17th century.
David does not have a gallery but he has exhibited at the BADA Antiques & Fine Art Fair held in March each year and can be contacted for consultation.
