Earle D. Vandekar of Knightsbridge, Inc

Earle D. Vandekar of Knightsbridge opened more than 100 years ago in Amsterdam. In 1916, the family moved the gallery to London. The gallery was located on the Brompton Road for more than 40 years, and during this time, the gallery grew and became internationally well-known for carrying high-quality 18th and 19th-century European and Chinese Export ceramics and other decorative arts. In 1982, Earle's son, Paul, opened in New York. In July 2019, Earle D. Vandekar of Knightsbridge moved to Downingtown, Pennsylvania.

Paul Vandekar and his wife Deidre Healy exhibit at numerous shows across the USA including San Francisco, New York, Nantucket, Newport, Philadelphia, and Delaware. Their pieces can also be found on the BADA, 1st Dibs and Chairish sites. They are also members of the world's leading antique organizations-the British Antiques Dealer Association (BADA), the Antique Dealers' League of America (AADLA), The Antique Dealers Association of America (ADA) and the Antiques Council.

In addition to ceramics, Paul is famous for his extensive collection of British sailors' woolworks known as Woolies. Vandekar also carries a fine selection of antique furniture and other unusual pieces of 18th and 19th-century decorative art such as enamel boxes, garden furniture, shell pictures, valentines, as well as now carrying a selection of Mid-century objects, in particular, the largest selection of Piero Fornasetti ceramics anywhere in the world.
