Koopman Rare Art
Koopman Rare Art deal in silver dating from circa 1500 through to the modern day. Whether the silver is American, European, or Asian, the emphasis is always on quality and design.
Over the years Koopman's has built up important private collections of silver, and has also worked closely with museums, both in England and internationally.
The company is well-known for holding one of London's largest stocks of fine English silver. Of particular note is the work of Robert Garrard, Paul Storr and Paul De Lamerie. But makers such as these are not the only ones to define their stock. In 2005 they held an exhibition on Rundell Bridge and Rundell and following this in 2010 another, 'The Classical Ideal'. Both of these events were combined with a charitable event in aid of The Prince's Trust and Sir John Soane's Museum in London.
Koopman Rare have been awarded the British Antiques & Collectables Award for Specialist Antiques Dealer in Silver.
