Fine antiques and works of art have been Michael Lipitch's passion and provided him with an immense amount of pleasure during his career as an antique dealer.

The family name “Lipitch” has been synonymous with antiques for more than one hundred years. Michael first established his own antiques business in 1960 and has carefully steered its development, and it is now known for distinctive high quality furniture, objets and museum pieces, with an emphasis on English and Continental items from the eighteenth century.

All pieces are personally selected by Michael, with authenticity, provenance, rarity, original colour and patination being of the utmost importance.

Utilising Michael's detailed knowledge and finely-tuned eye the company not only offers items for sale but can also help collectors, museums and designers source items.

Michael has previously exhibited at The Grosvenor House Art and Antiques Fair, and has also served on the vetting committees of some of Britain's major antique fairs.
