Sam Fogg Ltd

Sam Fogg is a specialist in the art of the European Middle Ages with departments also focusing on Islamic and Indian art. The company was founded thirty years ago and is now based in a large two-storied gallery on Clifford Street, off Bond Street in London.

Among their stock may be found fine examples of illuminated manuscripts, whether European gospels or 18th-cenntury Ethiopian miniatures. Their stock of medieval works of art might at any one time include delightful examples of 16th-century Italian sculpture or French stained glass, 16th-century figurative paintings or a gilded marriage chest.

The gallery presents a series of exhibitions and publications, breaking new ground in the fields of medieval panel painting, sculpture, stained glass, works of art, illuminated manuscripts, Ethiopian and Armenian Art, Islamic manuscripts and calligraphy and Indian paintings. Sam Fogg's clients include the world's major institutions as well as private collectors.

Same Fogg has exhibited at some of the world's major art fairs including TEFAF Maastricht and Masterpiece London.
