Shapero Rare Books

Shapero Rare Books is an internationally renowned dealer in antiquarian books and works on paper. Our experts have over 100 years' experience in the book world with particular expertise in fine illustrated books from the 15th to the 20th Century, particularly natural history, travel, guidebooks and Russian works. In 2014 we launched Shapero Modern, a modern and contemporary prints department which curates several shows annually on topical themes in our collection.

We are based in Mayfair on St. George Street where most of our stock is available and on public display. We also exhibit at major international fairs including The European Fine Art Fair, Masterpiece London, Art Asia in Hong Kong, and the Haughton Winter Show in New York.
