UK Heritage
UK Heritage is run by Ben Couchman. Ben studied Building Surveying at University, before establishing the business in 2006.
Ben focuses on decorative and functional architectural pieces, picking only the best pieces from private sources, dealers and everywhere in between. Searching throughout the UK and into Europe, Ben handpicks each and every item, selecting interesting pieces from the hundreds that he views each week.
Our impressive site in rural Herefordshire currently holds over 2,500 items. Arranged around a courtyard, our site includes an 18th Century barn as well as three large modern warehouses. We have dedicated showrooms displaying much of our extensive collection of unique and ever-changing architectural pieces.
We supply interior designers, architects, retailers and private clients across the world. Previous customers have included Cambridge and Oxford Universities, Claridge's and Warner brothers.
In everything we do, we are mindful of our environmental and ethical responsibilities. We do not sell any items containing ivory, tortoise shell or asbestos.
Ben is UK Heritage's founder and company owner; Ben has a vast amount of knowledge in the architectural field and has a great eye for beautiful historic and interesting pieces for our customers. Ben collects our items from all over England and Europe.
Abi is UK Heritage's office Manager. Feel free to give us a call and Abi will be happy to help you! You may hear a bark or two from furry friend, Jasper the Spaniel.
Gerald is UK Heritage's skilled restorer. You'll find Gerald in the workshop, mending and fixing historic items that need a lick of paint or a little extra love.
